Friday - Middle School - field events @ 1:00 pm / running events @ 1:30 pm/4:00 pm

FACILITIES:
8 lane TARTAN track in a lighted stadium.  The runways have the same surface.
ONLY 1/4" PYRAMID SPIKES ARE ALLOWED.  The shot put and discus rings 
are brushed concrete.
ENTRIES:
All entries will be done ONLINE through the website:  www.athletic.net
ENTRY DEADLINE IS MONDAY, March 22nd by 6:00 pm.
You will find step-by-step directions on the website.  You may make changes to 
your roster or athlete's events anytime before the deadline.
ENTRY FEE:
$100.00 for each team (boys and girls are considered seperate teams) of 8 or more
 athletes. $10.00 for individual entries.  It is not necessary to have seperate checks
for each division. Entry fee should be mailed ahead of time or brought to the meet.  
Make checks payable to: St. Mark's School of Texas.  Do not send cash.  
Receipts will be given when entries are picked up.  No refunds because of changes,
illness, weather, etc.

SEEDING:
All running events will be seeded and lanes drawn according to the time submitted 
on the entry form.  If no time was submitted, those athletes will automatically be 
placed in the slowest sections or outside lanes by the computer.  Heats as finals.
CHANGES:
Last minute changes should be E-mailed to joey@precision-timing.com by 
Tuesday, Mar. 23rd @ 6:00 pm.  Please make changes clear and readable.   
Name of athletes, division, event added or deleted or entry marked changed.  
This procedure is very important so that the meet will run smoothly and 
efficiently. YOU CANNOT ADD ATHLETES!
RULES:
The meet will be governed by National Federation Rules.  
Exception: One (1) false start is charged to the field.
Exception: An athlete may be entered in 5 events, including relays.
AWARDS:
In the varsity division, medals will be given to the top three(3) in each individual 
event and top three(3) relay teams.  Awards to the top three(3) teams in each 
division.
PARKING:
Auto parking will be allowed in the main parking lot.  Buses are asked to park 
adjacent to the curb at the north end of the school.
TEAM CHECK-IN:
Coaches only should pick up their packets in the tent at the north end of the
track on Friday between 12:00 pm - 1 pm.  On Saturday, coaches only should 
pick up their packet at the same place between 8:00 am - 9 am.  Athletes and 
coaches must be stamped for:  1)access onto the field, 2)entry into an event, 
and 3)receiving awards.  You are allowed 1 coach's pass for every 10 athletes.
HEAT SHEETS:
Will be in your packet at the check-in table.  Individual results will be posted at 
the conclusion of that event as soon as they are entered into the computer.
EVENT CHECK-IN:
Running events:  Athletes must check-in 45 minutes prior to their race at the 
clerk-of-the-course tent at the south end of the stadium.
Field events:  Athletes must check-in 45 minutes prior to their event at the 
event site.
DRESSING:
There are boys locker rooms only.  There are adequate restrooms for everyone.
TRAINERS:
Baylor Sports Medicine & St. Mark's Trainers will be handling all medical needs.  
We recommend that you bring your own supplies and the trainers will help you in 
any way.
CONCESSIONS:
There will be one(1) stand operating both days.  There will be water and electrolyte 
replenishment on the field both days for athletes, staff, and coaches only.
COACHES MEETING:
Friday at 12:30 pm and Saturday at 8:30 am.
COACHES LUNCH:
There will be a complimentary lunch* for all the coaches at the concession stand 
on Friday and a complimentary box lunch* on Saturday in the main cafeteria.

TEAM AREAS:
In the stands or outside the fenced track only!  Only participating athletes, 
coaches, and working staff are allowed on the main field!  NO PORTABLE/
PERSONAL SOUND SYSTEMS ALLOWED IN COMPETITION AREA !  
Do not jump fences! Go through the appropriate gates as to not interfere with 
the running of the meet.
CLEAN-UP:
Enclosed in your packet is one(1) large trash bag.  We would like to encourage 
you and your athletes to please clean up your area before you leave St. Mark's.
