Classroom goals for Fall 2002:

•   Each Youth Will Join & Work In One Of 4 Business Committees Throughout The Session.  

•  The Youth Will Learn Office 2000: Basic Spreadsheet [Excel] & Web Design [Front Page].

•  The Youth Will:

ü         Research Simple & Complex Machines Online;

ü         Design A Complex Machine –– On The Computer.

              This complex machine will be a robotic space probe whose mission is to help foster international cooperation through the exploration of our solar system. By comparing our home to other planets in the areas of planetary development, geology, climate, and possibly biology, mankind will learn more about how our own planet's systems interact to create things that affect us all across political boundaries: climate, geology, and biology. By better understanding how all of these systems work together to support our biosphere, we can create international cooperation to ensure a unified approach to planet-wide issues.

ü        Develop A Business Plan For Their Science Machine Business;

ü         Create A Web Design Presentation Of Their Science Machine Business Plan;

ü       Present Their Web Presentation To Corporate Executives At A Corporate Board Room, In A Web Design Presentation Competition On December 5, 2002.

•  The Youth’s Final Web Design Presentations Will Be Uploaded To The Tiger Woods Start Something & Other Websites On The World Wide Web!
