1) Read 6.7 in the book.
2) Solve this encrypted text created using a permutation table's 1 to1 mapping:
"Z LQDJX KR ZWQHL LPJ VQRL VZRRKEJXN HRJUHX LPKMT ZM KMLJIRLJXXZI PKLAPPKFJI AZM PZEJ."
"-YQHTXZR ZYZVR"
Hint: Use a relative frequency attack. You are welcome to use web-based crypotgram tools to help you, as long as you understand how they function.
3) Using the spreadsheet Problem B below as a guide, use the decoded letters of the speaker's last name in the quote above (rewritten in ascii binary) as the key to encode the word "guide" using the XOR function.
4) For Problem C in the same spreadsheet, generate your own X(0) and create a generated private key to encrypt the letters "DSP".
> Make sure you email the finished spreadsheet to me before class with your name on it and in the subject line.
