Please show your work for arriving at your answer:

You need to design a digital video system that will allow image capture and processing on an event that occurs very rapidly. The event in question is the impact of a modern 0.32 caliber bullet on a 10 cm square area on kevlar vest. In order to study vest deformation at the moments of impact, what would be your requirements for:

1) the sample rate of the imaging system (how many frames per second) so the bullet was clearly shown at each moment?

2) the CCD size if the smallest item you'll need to resolve is 0.5 mm square and imaged from a distance of 1 meter (you choose the lens)?

3) Assuming a 16 bit gray scale for each image, and determining how many frames you should capture for this event, the amount of bits you would need to store for one bullet shot.
