Most of the basic skills presented in Chapter 5 are items we've covered before (ahead of the sequence). Pay particular atention to the images that accompany the text for quantization processes.

We might be mapping the values we generate from the scanjam project to ascii text. This output, were x/y or RGB values as seen through the camera are mapped to ascii codes via a lookup table, might then initiate audio loops in a synthesizer that would normally use keyboard inputs. The 9 note sequence of the carillon could be stored in such a manner. I'm also working on figuring out how to directly write a MIDI stream out to a 16 channel controller.
