Information Engineering is an Infinity Project course that use Digital Signal Processing tools to investigate how the engineering process works. It focuses on using multimedia as the vehicle to introduce electrical engineering concepts. The core chapters in the program cover audio, video, networks, compression, and encryption.

The current class calendar is now posted in the new www.smtexas.org class where individual students can login and get their work off the secured website.

Older calendars are available below to look at the course's pacing. The new textbook has dropped the main number of Chapters down to nine, while the other nine chapters from the original book are now enrichment material.
