How-To: The Origami Crane

The origami crane is probably the most famous of all origami models. It is of traditional design, and has become the symbol of origami and, surprisingly, of world peace. Anyone who folds 1000 of them will be granted any wish they desire to come true. This design is slightly tricky, as in steps 6 and 7, so if you aren't an experienced folder, don't despair and just try it again. Use any square piece of paper; origami paper for best results. The second part of Step 13 is optional. If you want the sings to be a little bit more curved, curl them over the edge of a table.
