Curriculum Connections +: The Mid-Continent Research for Education and Learning is a one of the national education labs that have a trove of lesson plans and research that was created with federal grants.
ENC Homepage- The Eisenhower National Clearinghouse: The mother of all federal education web sites, this electronic repository has pretty much everything created by federal grants.

Bad Science Site: How can you know what good science entails unless you learn to examine the evidence behind claims? This site examines common misconceptions, some of which are in our textbooks.
BBC - Science in Action
IEEE Computer Society:    Interested in the latest intersection of math, science, and engineering? This professional organization is has links to current developments and lots of high-school and up topics to explore.
Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators:  Maintained at the Discovery Channel online, this comprehensive page has been around since 1995 by a Technology Administrator in Cape Cod.
Connections+(Science Chemistry) -Science lessons: This is the MidContinent Research for Education & Learning's lesson plan bank. A Federal repository for education items generated via Eisenhower grants, it has a wealth of resources.
NCISLA Science Teacher resources: The National Center for Improving Student Learning and Achievement in Mathematics and Science
(NCISLA) is a U of Wisconsin site that is focused on how to best teach science. Great research on cognitive models finds practical applications here.
Flinn Scientific-Chemistry:  A chemistry supplier with the best teacher-tested demo's and lessons from a commercial source. These are all free!
Network Nuggets for Educators:  A British Columbia site dedicated to fostering better teaching.
NPR's Science Friday Show: Enjoy host Ira Flatow's show covers it all with flair and intelligence.
PeriodicTable.com Teacher Home page: Need some ideas on how to teach the Periodic Table? Approaches and novel ideas are listed here.
Physical Sciences Resource Center: A joint effort of the AAPT and the Campaign for Physics to help raise the level of physical science education in the US. Often the poor stepchild of the science department, this is a critical introduction to the major topics to be encountered later.
Science In the Headlines: The National Academy of Sciences homepage for breaking science topics. Also includes policy decisions on science issues at the national level.
Science Learning Network Resources: This non-profit site has a very wide range of science topics for all ages to explore. Many are science museum or university pages. Almost all are up-to-date.
NASA's Education Homepage: If you teach any earth or space science make sure you keep tabs on this clearinghouse of NASA information.
