Information Engineering is an Infinity Project Junior and Senior high school level course that uses Digital Signal Processing tools to investigate how the engineering process works. It focuses on using multimedia as the vehicle to introduce electrical engineering concepts. The core chapters in the program cover audio, video, networks, compression, and encryption.

The current class calendar is now posted in the new www.smtexas.org class where individual students can login and get their work off the secured website.

The new book, published in the summer of 2003,
has dropped the main number of chapters down to the "core" nine. The last nine chapters from the original book are now enrichment material. Homework material from the Fall 2003 trimester onward follows the format of the new textbook.

Older detailed homework listings are available below to look at the pacing of a course that attempts to cover the "core" and the enrichment activities in one year.
