Each year, a number of distinguished scholars come to St. Mark's as part of the Robert E. Dennard Visiting Scholars Program. Notable authors, lecturers, historians, artists and others share their knowledge, experience and insight with the students as they lecture, perform, and visit classes. Guest lecturers bring a variety of interesting topics to campus in an effort to enrich and broaden the education of our boys. Recent Dennard Visiting Scholars include Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk, Olympic Medalist Bonnie St. John Dean, Air Force Academy Dean of Faculty Brigadier General Ruben Cubero, MTV Executive Stephen Hill, Nobel Prize winner Robert Curl, Poet and Educator Nikki Giovanni, and Dallas Morning News columnist Steve Blow.

DEBATE TOURNAMENT

St. Mark's annually hosts the nationally regarded "Heart of Texas Invitational Debate and Speech Tournament." 

FIRST Robotics Team

St. Marks has partnered again with Lennox Inc. and Hockaday to form a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team. The team spends six weeks designing and building a robot to preform a predetermined task. This years' machine moves "floppies" around a field with three other robots. SUMMER CAMP

For over a quarter of a century, the St. Mark’s Day Camp has defined what a day camp experience should be in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The emphasis has always been on blending a singular combination of fun and learning to ensure that each camper grows in unique and rewarding ways each summer.
